Are You Ready To Hear Some Interesting And Scary Ghost House Stories?
Well here we are going to discuss some very scary North Florida haunted houses
stories. These are not only stories but they are real according to some
people who have experienced all the paranormal scenes out there.
1.Captain Tony’s Saloon – this
saloon is a very old establishment that has been built around a tree
that grows right through the middle of a room. This is not a normal tree
but a tree meant to carry out more than 75 executions of unfortunate
people of those earlier years. However, though all these people have not
been haunting the place there is one woman who shows up with a blue
night gown filled with blood to those who are in the saloon. Every room
in the saloon is considered to be haunted by many spirits. The pool room
is home for two tombs of a couple Susannah and Joseph Edmunds in 1822.
They were very young when they were murdered because of their secret
affair. The women’s rest room is another haunted place, but at the same
time people believe that a fish there brings good luck. If you throw a
quarter in the huge grouper’s mouth that is seen outside the saloon you
will come in contact with good luck. Like to visit this saloon and try
your luck?
2.The Shiloh cemetery-
this cemetery is a bit hard to find since you will have to first find
the Page Jackson cemetery. Once you have found this you will follow the
dirt road right down to Shiloh. Be careful when looking for the location
as the old tomb stone is barely visible. But a female spirit is
believed to be walking around that area making eerie noises and
appearances now and then at day but mostly at night.
3.Hotel Blanche – this
was home to very famous guests like the gangster Al Capone. It was once
considered a very luxurious hotel and hence businessmen inhabit the
ground floor in large numbers. The second has office space but the third
floor is uninhabited except for the haunts of the hotel. According to
many witnesses here you will hear and see disembodied voices ad
footsteps. You will also hear the sounds of playing kids. Besides all
this the doors and windows will open on their own and close again.
Sounds interesting? Like to pay a visit to this hotel?
Really scary stories aren’t they? There are more stories like this if you are prepared to read or listen to them.

Haunting, haunted – these words seem extremely weird and gives one an eerie feeling. Most people fear being alone in dark rooms because of not wanting to encounter spirits. However, in reality there are numerous North Florida haunted houses that you may not have heard about. Here is a small list of a few most haunted areas in Florida that have been famous for many years and are believed to be still in existence.
The Riddle House at West Palm Beach in Florida
This Edwardian place was built in 1905 and was later converted to a historical park. However, originally this was a funeral parlour before it was purchased by Karl Riddle in 1920s and became his personal home since then. The owner Karl Riddle became bankrupt and resorted to hang himself instead of facing his financial problems. Hence, this ghost haunts only men and has also appeared in the recent Ghost Adventures program on television.
Carriage house apartments in Chelsea courtyards

This is because it was known to cohabitate ghosts and hence it was used only as a storage place for many years. According to a few witnesses, poltergeist activities like walls with blood dripping, things being thrown around everywhere and the smell of rotten flesh persisted. Sudden appearances of badly decayed faces show up in the mirrors. Witnesses have seen an elderly kind female ghost and a white cat show up from time to time. It is believed that this lady had died in 1987 of cancer.
Pinewood historic cemetery – Daytona Beach in Florida
This cemetery is considered the oldest cemetery in the Daytona Beach area in Florida. Witnesses have reported that the place was haunted by a woman spirit. Besides this a headless ghost was also reported and is rumoured to be the spirit of Adler Rawlings whose bones and grave was defaced by teens.
